Originally part of the Curtis family farm in the 1850’s, Curtis Park has developed into a tight-knit community and home to previous Sacramento mayors and acclaimed writer Joan Didion. Located conveniently near Highway 99 and just South of Midtown, the neighborhood surrounds its namesake, the 18 acre Curtis Park, which offers basketball, baseball, tennis, trails, a playground and plenty of grassy space for residents to gather and enjoy the beautiful Sacramento weather.
Homes date back to the 1920’s and feature popular styles like the California Highwater Bungalow, Tudor and Craftsman. More recently developed Crocker Village brought an exciting infill project with modern townhomes and new construction single-family homes into the neighborhood, along with shopping and restaurants. Neighbors love making their way to local eateries like Gunther’s Ice Cream, Pangaea Bief Café or Hop Gardens Taproom. Curtis Park has much to offer residents and visitors alike!
