Arden Park is a neighborhood located in the Arden-Arcade region of Sacramento and is located east of the City of Sacramento. Established in 1946, Arden Park has 1,911 homes and was developed by Wright and Kimbrough. With its distinct boundaries of Fair Oaks Boulevard, Watt Avenue, Arden Way and Eastern Avenue, this is more than a neighborhood. Anchored by Arden Park and its many activities and events, the neighborhood exudes a true community feel with its highly-rated public schools and tree-lined streets. You will find many homes have been remodeled or rebuilt over the years on the spacious lots.
This is a neighborhood with its own recreation and park district. Arden Park is the heart of the community, drawing neighbors out with events like Music in the Park, Movies in the Park, Easter Eggstravaganza, a youth triathlon, and an overnight camp out. Plus, you will find youth sport camps, swim team, little league, soccer and adult softball, tennis and fitness programs.
One very special thing about this neighborhood is that it is multi-generational. You will find that homeowners grew up in the neighborhood. Once they decided to buy a home they wanted to return to Arden Park to live and raise a family of their own.
